European holiday specialist PV-Holidays, also known as Pierre et Vacances, has launched its 2008/2009 winter brochure. This season, it offers a total of 97 properties in 41 resorts throughout France including Les Trois Vallés, Flaine and Chamonix.

This winter, PV-Holidays has re-opened seven properties after extensive refurbishment including the largest alpine residence in France, Pierre Vacances Temples du Soleil in Val Thorens. Additionally six properties situated in La Plagne, Les Menuires Chamonix and Les Deux Alpes have been fully upgraded, renovated, refreshed and modernised. As a result 80% of PV-Holidays alpine residences are new or have been renovated in the past six years. Also new is the introduction of ‘Spas Latitudes’ by Thalgo the marine Spa specialist in the Courchevel, Val d’Isere and Les Arcs hotels.

The PV Holidays website includes virtual tours and videos of the accommodation. The website also includes everything guests need to know from directions to the accommodation to up-to-date snow reports. New for this season there is also the option for all customers to receive a food pack and evening meal delivery service.

PV-Holidays first ever property was opened in Avoriaz in 1967 and has since been one of the leading provider of ski accommodation in France. Most properties are ski-in/ ski-out and are located in high altitude resorts in France, meaning customers always get the best snow even if it is lacking elsewhere.

PV-Holidays’ ski accommodation varies from two-star self-catering apartments to stylish four-star hotels. Many of the properties have swimming pools, spas and leisure facilities. What’s more, most guest residences have ski rental shops in the same building.
